Indigo Kids
Many of you have
undoubtedly heard of
the Indigo
Children--the new
6th Root race
individuals being
born en masse in
recent years. But
for those who have
not, or who have
only sketchy
information, lets
have a closer look.
It is estimated that
at least 80% of
children incarnating
now are Indigo, and
they are special.
They are spiritually
advanced, and they
will demonstrate it
if you listen to
them. They have
knowledge that comes
from a greater place
than this small,
mundane world. And
they are here to
make things better
for everyone!
Indigo's are so
named because their
energy field (aura)
is indigo in color.
The average human
being has an aura
that is yellow,
yellowish-white, or
grayish white (these
colors predominate,
and take in about
90% of all people on
the planet; see
'Journey of Souls'
by Michael Newton,
PhD.). As souls
evolve into higher
levels of
consciousness, over
many thousands of
incarnations, the
aura color changes
from grayish-white
to yellowish-white,
to yellow. More
advanced souls have
a greenish-yellow
tint to their aura,
and yet more
advanced will have a
clear green aura.
Blue is less common
and is usually
reserved for those
on a
deeply-committed
spiritual path such
as a nun, a monk, a
long-term meditator,
a saint, or a guru.
Anyone with
clairvoyant sight
can see this color
distinction easily.
It is not often that
we see an indigo
aura because those
souls have purified
their essence to
such a great degree
that they do not
need to reincarnate.
But a few do exist.
It has been said
that at all times
there must be at
least nine supremely
advanced souls
incarnate throughout
the planet, in order
to keep the hostile
energies of the
masses at a
tolerable level.
It is not necessary
to see the color of
someone's aura to
know and feel their
higher vibration.
Without exception,
the higher frequency
they carry shows up
through their
actions: high
integrity, a quest
for greater
knowledge--meaning
greater than this
mundane world--a
powerful desire to
help others, often
the gift of
prophecy, intuitive
and healing
abilities, a strong
affinity with the
laws of Nature,
advanced
technological
skills, and a
feeling of 'not
belonging here'.
Indigos are not only
children. Einstein
was one. Some of the
great minds and
visionaries
throughout history
have all been of the
Indigo race. It is
said that about 70%
of people up to the
age of 30 are now
Indigos. Your child
or grand-child may
be one. You may be
one!
If you know an
Indigo, or think you
do, its good to be
prepared for them.
They do not have
easy lives because
they are usually
born to ordinary
Fifth Root race
parents. {For a bit
more on the root
races here is a
clearly-stated site:
http://www.kheper.net/topics/Theosophy/root_races.html
} Because so little
was known about
these special beings
in the past, many
people who are
Indigo adults now,
and raised in the
pre-knowledgeable
times, had
challenging lives,
too. Today, with our
awareness increasing
about this
phenomenon, there is
the hope that these
new kids can be
educated suitably
and with
consideration for
their innate skills
and abilities.
It's not easy being
an Indigo child.
True, these souls
are advanced far
more than their
parents in most
cases. But they are
still children who
need guidance and
protection. The kids
often feel greatly
frustrated at the
limits placed on
them due to their
young age. Parents
are often at a loss
of how to deal with
these seemingly
grown-ups in small
form. Educating the
parents is the key.

What is an indigo
Child?
{from
http://www.indigochild.com/ }
In summary, here are
the ten attributes
that best describe
this new kind of
child, the Indigo
Child (named by
those who predicted
it).
1. They come into
the world with a
feeling of royalty
(and often act like
it).
2. They have a
feeling of
"deserving to be
here," and are
surprised when
others don't share
that.
3. Self-worth is not
a big issue. They
often tell the
parents "who they
are."
4. They have
difficulty with
absolute authority
(authority without
explanation or
choice).
5. They simply will
not do certain
things; for example,
waiting in line is
difficult for them.
6. They get
frustrated with
systems that are
ritually oriented
and don't require
creative thought.
7. They often see
better ways of doing
things, both at home
and in school, which
makes them seem like
"system busters"
(nonconforming to
any system).
8. They seem
antisocial unless
they are with their
own kind. If there
are no others of
like consciousness
around them, they
often turn inward,
feeling like no
other human
understands them.
School is often
extremely difficult
for them socially.
9. They will not
respond to "guilt"
discipline ("Wait
till your father
gets home and finds
out what you did").
10. They are not shy
in letting you know
what they need.

Indigo Adult
Characteristics
1. Are intelligent,
though may not have
had top grades.
2. Are very creative
and enjoy making
things.
3. Always need to
know 'why',
especially why they
are being asked to
do something.
4. Had disgust and
perhaps loathing for
much of the required
and repetitious work
in school.
5. Were rebellious
in school in that
they refused to do
homework and
rejected authority
of teachers, or
seriously wanted to
rebel, but didn't
dare, usually due to
parental pressure.
6. May have
experienced early
existential
depression and
feelings of
helplessness. These
may have ranged from
sadness to utter
despair. Suicidal
feelings while still
in high school or
younger are not
uncommon in the
Indigo adult.
7. Have difficulty
in service-oriented
jobs. Indigos resist
authority and caste
system of
employment.
8. Prefer leadership
positions or working
alone to team
positions.
9. Have deep empathy
for others, yet an
intolerance of
stupidity.
10. May be extremely
emotionally
sensitive including
crying at the drop
of a hat (they have
no shielding). Or
may be the opposite
and show no
expression of
emotion (full
shielding).
11. May have trouble
with rage.
12. Have trouble
with systems they
consider broken or
ineffective, i.e.
political,
educational,
medical, and legal.
13. Alienation from
or anger with
politics; feeling
your voice won't
count and/or that
the outcome really
doesn't matter.
14. Frustration with
or rejection of the
traditional American
dream - 9-5 career,
marriage, 2.5
children, house with
white picket fence,
etc.
15. Anger at rights
being taken away,
fear and/or fury at
"Big Brother
watching you."
16. Have a burning
desire to do
something to change
and improve the
world. May be
stymied what to do.
May have trouble
identifying their
path.
17. Have psychic or
spiritual interest
appear fairly young
- in or before teen
years.
18. Had few if any
Indigo role models.
19. Have strong
intuition.
20. Random behavior
pattern or mind
style. May have
trouble focusing on
assigned tasks, may
jump around in
conversations.
21. Have had psychic
experiences, such as
premonitions, seeing
angels or ghosts,
out of body
experiences, hearing
voices.
22. May be
electrically
sensitive such as
watches not working
and street lights
going out as you
move under them,
electrical equipment
malfunctioning and
lights blowing out.
23. May have
awareness of other
dimensions and
parallel realities.
24. Seek meaning to
their life and
understanding about
the world May seek
this through
religion or
spirituality,
spiritual groups and
books, self-help
groups and books.
25. When they find
balance they may
become very strong,
healthy, happy
individuals.
* Please note:
anyone could have a
few of these traits,
but Indigo Adults
have most or all of
these 25
characteristics.

Why are so many
Indigo souls being
born now?
It does not take an
expert to see the
condition of the
world. With so much
violence, war,
greed, intolerance,
and generally
low-vibration
energies rampant, we
need an upward shift
before we destroy
ourselves. The Fifth
Root race people are
the yellow aura
souls, and they are
the vast majority of
people over 30
incarnate now. The
yellow aura comes
from the color of
the solar plexus
chakra, and that is
the power center. It
has to do with
personal will,
power, and the 'I
want' energies. It
is self-absorbed
rather that
other-oriented.
Their heart chakra
is either not open
or barely open.
There is little or
no opening of throat
chakra, brow, or
crown chakras,
therefore they have
no higher vision,
and no awareness of
greater realities.
And they are simply
not equipped to have
those things, or to
be something they
are not structured
to be. In other
words, they will not
change. They cannot.
By comparison with
Indigos, they are
primitive.
As the older
generations of
power-mongers die of
old age, these new
Indigo kids will be
the people running
things. But they are
not just a new,
younger generation.
They are special,
they are gifted, and
they are pure souls
who are here to help
build a better
future. Here is

Think about
this the next time
you are having to
deal with your
children or
grand-children.
