A Santa Fe Journey

Welcome to a pictorial journey through
Santa Fe. These are the colors of New Mexico...soft rose, azure
blue, cream, turquoise, and pink. I hope you feel at home on your
journey!
Santa Fe rests with her head in the
clouds at 7000' above sea level. She is 'sacred fire' between the
Sangre de Cristo and Sandia mountains, right in the middle of New
Mexico--'The Land of Enchantment'--in the American Southwest.
I once lived in Santa Fe. I fell in
love with her magnificent sunrises and sunsets, the soft, pastel colors
of the land, the flat adobe houses from ancient civilizations, the smell
of pinion smoke in the cool night air, red and green chili ristras
rustling in the breeze, my Santuario de Chimayo, and a hundred flavors
of Indian and Mexican cooking.
If you believe in magic you may find it
in Santa Fe. She is unique in all the world and draws countless
'seekers of truth' every day of the year. Her energy is
other-worldly yet her boundaries are distinct. From Santa Fe,
traveling south to Albuquerque will plummet you 2000' and bring you face
to face with 'reality'. Ninety minutes north of Santa Fe, along
the Rio Grande, is Taos, with her artist community and ancient Taos
Pueblo Indians.
Here on these pages I hope to show you a glimpse
of my Santa Fe. There are over 45 pictures here, along
with descriptions, anecdotes, and my personal experiences. The
pages may take a few moments to load due to all the graphics.
